All Work And No Play

Over the summer months trade has been quite buoyant and with holiday season at times our staff have been quite stretched.  We are currently planning a number of projects to upgrade our infrastructure and part of this includes some improvements to our break facilities for our hard working staff.  The first of these is the installation of a pool table for the Greenwich team, the other two branches have similar recreational facilities in the pipelines which will be reported on at a later date.

Also in the news this month was a visit from our founder Bill Robertson who has been spending some time at the Head Office in Maidstone assisting the Marketing Department with the latest Direct Mail campaign.  When we asked Bill what he thought of the pool table going into the Greenwich branch his response was “he always believed that the staff are our greatest asset and by looking after them and treating them the way we would want to be treated at work , this will filter down to how they treat our customers and give the best possible service!”.  On his next visit to Greenwich he would happy to challenge them to a game (during their lunch break).
